bmadd Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Tried the search but it brought nothing up. I remember reading about it before but can't remember what was said. Anybody used this stuff? Quote
Linesides Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I have used Triple Fish's X-Rated line the past 2 years and really like it. It does exactly what it says; just Google their website and read about it (I tried posting the link but the forum blocked it). It's a hyped-up mono that has become my all around line for a lot of different applications. My other line is braid, which I use braid for frogging and jigging around trash. Best of all, it is real reasonably priced. Eric Quote
MN Bass Man Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I've been fishing with the 15# flouro for the past couple weeks, and with KVD Line and Lure I've found it as manageable as the Yo-Zuri Hybrid it replaced. And like te above poster said, you can't beat the price: $9.99 for 150 yds. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I'm satisfied. Quote
Super User Tin Posted June 8, 2009 Super User Posted June 8, 2009 I had a staff deal with them for a few years. There mono is second to none in my opinion. But I started using braid and flouro more and more until only one rod in my boat had mono. I felt like their braid and flouro were acceptable but there were better options out there so I did not renew with them. I still use there Camo line on my crankbait rod and a spinning rod for small plastic swimbaits. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted June 8, 2009 Super User Posted June 8, 2009 I have been throwing the 25lb Camo-Escent line with my larger swimbaits and have been pleasantly surprised. I spray it with the KVD and there is little to no memory. Quote
J-B Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Tackle warehouse has it as 440 yards for $9.99. http://www.***.com/descpageLNETRIPFISH-TFXRL.html Quote
