I'm not up on the current reels, I have looked at the discriptions on a few sites, but ya know how that goes, I'd like some Real world suggestions from you guys. I did look at the Pflugers on TW, but noticed they aren't available in the lefty's..? Rell will be mainly used for plastics on a 6'6" Rick Clunn bps rod. I'd like a good casting reel, one that doesn't require lots of adjustmen, and in a low profile model. Brand isn't as important as quality, and feel. So...whatcha think..?

BTW, if absolutly have to spend another 30.00 or so..that would be o.k.

Ebay FTW. New curado E7's for $150 all day.  STX's $160-$170.  Last year's model of Quantum Energy PT's on closeout for about $100.  Hell of a deal on the PT's, they aren't quite in the same class as the shimano or abu but I love mine plus they look sweet.

I would go with the Shimano Curado.  Very nice reel.  Casts light baits very well and is very smooth.

Will not be disappointed.

Later, :)
