Super User skunked_again Posted May 14, 2009 Super User Posted May 14, 2009 Daiwa Black Widow II http://www.***.com/descpageRLCDAIWA-DBWCR.html Shimano Citica 200 E http://cgi.ebay.com/Shimano-Citica-200E-New-for-2009_W0QQitemZ370197217074QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5631793f32&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 those are the 2 that come to mind first. the Revo S would also be a great choice. Big Phish Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 thanks, i like the look of that black widow, and i def trust the daiwa brand name Quote
rippin_lips Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I have the mojo jerkbait rod with a black widow II and love it. I think you will be happy with a similar combo. Quote
Super User .RM. Posted May 14, 2009 Super User Posted May 14, 2009 I would re-think the Black Widow II it was a limited addition put out 3 years ago and it based on the Team Daiwa® Advantage -HSTA (TDA153HSTA). Just knowing it was a LE tells me the factory probably doesn't support the reel any more (main reason for looking at the current line up's for any mfg.).. If I were hooking up a reel to the MOJO® It would be the HSTA, CU200E, or the REVO S, they all would make great plastics reels.. Just my .02¢ Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!! Quote
crankin09 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I have that rod paired with a Revo S.. Havent got to fish with it yet..This weekend BFL will be the first time. But playin around in the yard with it the rod feels great, and you cant go wrong putting any Revo on it Quote
Beale_Bass Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Review w/pics: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1242241244 That Mojo is paired with a Pflueger President XT. That combo is as smooth as ice. Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I vote for the Revo S man! Very smooth and VERY strong!! Quote
Big Phish Posted May 15, 2009 Author Posted May 15, 2009 i ended up going with the Daiwa megaforce plus 100TSHL. I was sold as soon as the salesman showed me the twitchin' bar. I'm gunna take out on it's maiden voyage tomorrow at spruce run in nj with my new pelican ram-x 10 foot kayak, which is also going to be on its maiden voyage. I love new toys. Quote
dmac14 Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Not to burst your bubble, but I have heard of people having troubles with that twitchin' bar. My friend was sold on that reel, till he found out that the twitchin' bar is jut a hassle. Quote
Big Phish Posted May 15, 2009 Author Posted May 15, 2009 Dont tell me that dude. i just had sooo much fun trying it out in the pool. :: bubble bursts :: Quote
