Super User fishfordollars Posted December 26, 2007 Super User Posted December 26, 2007 Does anyone else on this site ever drill and put superglue in their traps to silence them? I have several that I have done this to and it really makes a difference when I follow someone through an area that has been hammered with loud traps. As long as the water is not to stained I have noticed a big difference in my catch ratio. Quote
Super User T-rig Posted December 26, 2007 Super User Posted December 26, 2007 No, never done that. I just buy silent lipless cranks. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted December 26, 2007 Author Super User Posted December 26, 2007 T-Rig, what kind and where you getting them? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 26, 2007 Super User Posted December 26, 2007 Lucky Craft LV-300 does not have rattles. http://www.luckycraft.com/luckycrafthome/Products/crankbait/lv300s.htm Quote
Super User T-rig Posted December 26, 2007 Super User Posted December 26, 2007 Like RW mentioned, the LV-300N is a good bait. There are many others like the T.D. Silent Vibration, Shimano Complex Undulator, Megabass Vibtation X Silent.................. Most of these baits you'll find on ebay. Quote

Definatley looking into these then doing it myself. Not worth the aggravation. Quote
