I am pairing this with a Quantum Accurist PT and I had it on a 7' M pole and it was horrible. I'm looking for a good 6'6" MH Rod that is around $120 bucks and is proven to be a good rod.

Thanks,

Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!

If you do decide to go with St. Croix and have a Gander Mountain near you, they currently have 25% off all St. Croix rods.

The Mojo would definitely be a good choice.  If there is a BPS near, the Proqualifiers are still on sale for $99.  IMO one of the best deals you can get at BPS

I use G-Blanks and Highly recommend them, the IM7 blanks are in your range. I just ordered a 6'10" M XF for light grubs, DS etc. I do have a 6'6" MH I use for jigs and worms.

You could stink with the Quantum theme and pair that Accurist up with a Quantum Energy PT rod! I'm using a 7 footer and really like it! In the 6'6" length, I'd go with the QEC666F.

I have the same reel on a 7' MH St Croix Premier and I love it, but I use for spinners.

I have an Accurist on a Mojo, 6'6" that has been my T-Rig set-up and I have another Accurist on a St. Croix Tournament and for $60.00, its a nice rod believe it or not.

I would go Premier with the PT unless you can afford an Avid.

The Fenwicks are good.

I'd personally recommend an All Star Platinum, P786C. Cabela's has them at $129 right now with free shipping.

I have 2 of these and love them.
