Would like thoughts on which is better deal:

tour edition 11+1 bearings  99.99

energy 9+1 bearings  74.99

Will be using the 10 size on ultralight rig (6 ft rod to be picked later)

Is two bearings really worth 25 bucks?

I am on a tight budget so 100 is my current limit for a spinning reel.

i have both and believe it or not, there is a difference! mine are 20 and 30 sizes. i dont have any 10 size but the difference between the bigger ones is noticeable. my opinion is get the tour and you will never wonder what if. there is a reason the tours started out at $279.00! i would gladly trade my energy for a tour! the new pti-b's are awesome too. i just bought a catalyst20 and its crazy nice! on par with pti-a tours and its only got 8 bearings. so its not all in the bearings. hope this helps

I just bought an Energy E30PTI-A from Cabelas and really like the reel.  I would have bought the Tour but the blue didn't match the red on my Damiki Dark Angel.  I would get the Tour and not worry about the energy.

Thanks guys.

Maybe the blue will help with making the case with the wife for a new reel. Of course she already knows I have no fashion sense when it comes to color. If it only came in purple I might have a better case. :;)
