Flouro for worm fishing?

I keep reading and hearing people say that you have to pay attention to your line when you are worm fishing, like dropshot or t-rigs or most other worms. Also most sugest to use flourocarbon line for these technics, bucause it is hard for the fish to see it underwater.

I get that, but my problem is that I can't see the smaller clearer flouro in sunny Az very good, is the green line they make easier to see? is any other company making some easier to see above water color that I can use? which is a good line to use?

any ideas?

Try Berkley Vanish transition. It will turn red or gold above water in the sun.

Berkley vanish transition is horrible... even though it may change color, you probably still won't see it. I recommend Trilene 100% flouro

I recently bought my first two spools of 100% and am really excited to try this stuff out.

As for the Vanish, yup, garbage.  Even as leader material it's garbage.  I used quite a bit of the stuff years back to tie my rigs for walleye fishing....big mistake.  That was a lot of money down the pisser.

You could always try some HiVis braid with a flouro leader.

With flourocarbon I find that I'll feel the bite before I see the line move, hop, run off, ect., because fluoros are way more sensative than mono but not quite as sensative as braid.  I don't even bother concentrating on the line as much as concentrate on how the lure feels.  15lb P-Line 100% for heavy cover and 10lb P-Line 100% for no cover to sparse cover conditions.

The Trilene 100% is available in a 'green tint' color.  I honestly don't have a problem seeing my clear Trilene, but the green may help you.

I am trying some of the new Seguar Red label fluorocarbon and so far it seem to be very good line at a very good price.  We will see how it fairs over time.  It did seem to line twist a little but not to bad.  It is on a spinning setup.

I use yozuri ultra soft hybrid, I fish worms..ALOT!, about 90% of the time. I tried flouro once, that vanish junk..in my case, the flouro didn't make a big difference, although it possibly could in other situations, i.e. gin clear water.

I do have a reel spooled with P-line and it is clear, it is hard for me to see it because the sun is always very bright where I live, I will look in to the yellow or green floro.

I believe Berkley has a new color in the Trilene family that should be on the market in a few weeks.  It is going to be high-vis above the water, and clear when below water.  Sorry for anyone who read this in another post, but it seems to apply to both threads.

Are you wearing polarized sunglasses..? they do help a bunch. I can't see my clear line, but the green mist is fairly easy to see above the water...even with these Old eyes..lol
