Anybody ever use these? It seems like there the only reel in the $100 price range that comes in a 5.2:1 and a 6.3:1.

I have several Pfluegers and I find my Trion cranking reel quite trustworthy. It's not flashy, but maybe that's what makes it so solid. It's a very smooth reel too. A see lot of pros still use their old Trions.

With the exception of one BPS Extreme (Back up status these days) This is the only reel I use.

I liked the NS version but have come to appreciate the wide spool, as its easier for me to thumb

I have 4 6.3 and one 5.2 and I love these reels, they are solidly made, and easily serviced. Both by Pflueger themselves ( never more than a 15 day turn around) and J.Francho will clean them, one of our members.

I like centrifugal brakes and no bells and whistles , I have also bought all of them right here, used for no more than 45 bucks!
