Had my Stix break on trip ou of town, dealer now doesn't have that action in stock, I just flat out doubt most everything this guy says from other reports, have called e21 but can not speak to anyone or even get a callback. I just feel that mailing them the section of rod with logo and $30 is not going to get me a rod anytime soon. Anyone with experience with e21?

How did you break the rod?

I only have one experience with them and it was excellent. My first Carrot was one of the early models. The durability of the finish was sub-par(in my opinion); so I emailed their customer service about it. I was just asking about if the newer ones had more durability. I received a reply the same day(a Tuesday) asking for my address. I emailed it to them. On Friday, the UPS man came to my door with a long thin cylinder, inside was a new Carrot. I did not have to send the old one(of chunk of it) back. I now have 5 total, with more to come, and the finish is better.

1.Email them

2. I just sent mine when the boat cleat ate it and had a new one in two weeks.

3. I would tell them about your dealer issue. It's supposed to be an over the counter warranty program.

I see a few good replies on the subject of the warranty with carrot stix, but I have had nothing but problems. I purchased two of the 7'3" MH LTX sticks and had one break in the first hour using it right in the middle of the rod on a hook set. Well I don't have any dealers in my area as of right now so I contacted E21 and got no responset. I got on here and found this thread figured I would contact Sean and he told me that I will have to pay to have a rod replaced that broke in the first hour of using it. This now makes a rod that seemed like a good deal not. I have no confidence in it one bit as it broke right off the bat and now I am supposed to ship it back to the place I got it and wait. What if the next one breaks the same? I guess I will just ahve to keep shipping them back to the place I bought it and watch the cost rack up. Rod felt good the little bit I got to use it, but I think that I will stick with my St. Croixs and Kistlers as they have had far better customer support from my experience.
