Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted April 17, 2009 Author Super User Posted April 17, 2009 What did you have done..?from the reel mechanic and it feels and works like new. Just wanted to say thanks. well, bought a used TD SOL that was unfunctioning for a price that I couldn't refuse. When I got it it worked but was rough and the spool wouldn't engage by cranking, had to manually push the thumb bar up to engage. But now? BUTTA Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted April 18, 2009 Super User Posted April 18, 2009 O.K...thought you may have done a bearing upgrade or something too.. Quote
Super User .RM. Posted April 18, 2009 Super User Posted April 18, 2009 With the strict tolerances that Daiwa uses in that reel, there is no real need to upgrade bearings. The multi disc drag system is next to none, so no need to upgrade those either... It is just a great fun time ML/FW, L/SW reel.... Tight Lines!!!! Quote
