I have been wondering the same thing, I'm sure Reel Mechanic will have the answer for us.

If I remember right, you have to lock the drag all the way down and then rotate the handle in the reverse direction.

I would still wait to try until someone else chimes in though just to be sure.

Tighten the drag all the way down, you then will notice a piece of black plastic between the handle and drag star. Push that towards the drag star and rotate the handle backwards.

Yup they've got it......

Tighten drag to max, push black disk toward drag star, crank handle in reverse...

The important part is remembering how they all go back together.... :)
