Super User Raul Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 Damiki Angel Ex 2 piece ---> 80 bones Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 $80....definately look the part but wonder how they perform? Quote
Skunked in DR Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 They look great, and $80 is an amazing price point. However, I've looked all over the interweb and I can't find any specs on them. Quote
basser89 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 They're definitely up there on the stylin and profilin points! I'd be curious on how they compare with the BPS Bionic Blade. Quote
SimonSays Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Damiki Angel Ex 2 piece ---> 80 bones I think I'd get jumped fishing something like that where I've been fishing recently ;D Quote
ChiCityBasser Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Good looking rod and *** has them in stock and would look Nice with my Quantum Energy BC and was looking at the Prodigy but this is the same price and love the color. They only have it in 6'6" for both spinning and casting Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 Specs: http://www.damiki.co.kr/eng/sub.html?s=2_3&m=view&page=1&page_num=10&no=78 Had I seen this before I bought my dark angel, I think I would still have a dark angel...not a bad looking rod though...could do with a little length variety. Super User Sam Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 Ugly Stick. Really. An Ugly Stick. Around $50. Can't break them. Quote
Ballpark Frank Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Raul, I have been eyeballing one. I just wished there was more info on them. For just $80 , I might just have to get one and try it out. Heck, I've spent more on a couple of swimbaits that haven't lured or caught anything except me and my wallet. Quote
Super User islandbass Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 That's a beautiful rod, but I want to know, how in the world did they slap on SiC guides on an $80 rod? That is fantastic! You'd be lucky to find Hardloy or Alconite. Wow! Down, boy! Back in the cage, NOW! ;D Quote

Super User .RM. Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 6 big negatives for me (just from reading the marketing), Adopted SIC guides (probably cloned), IPS/ECS typed twisted reel seats (probably cloned), spigot-joint ferrule*, EVA, 2pc, Korean made... *(A type of ferrule comprised of a plug or internal sleeve joined internally and permanently to one rod section and fitting inside another section by means of a friction fit.) Over time they do get lose and fail... Just a builders 2¢ worth. Tight Lines!!! PS: Raul i'm a bank fisherman and use custom built rods... Quote
ChiCityBasser Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 It's looking like I will have to order one of the Casting models in the next couple of weeks. I will be getting the MH and see how it does later either this month or next month. I have rods that are a bit more sitting now and this one looks pretty good so think I will try it. Quote
