drop-shot fool Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Thanks for all the replies. I once heard some one say they weren't sensitive, but i have never tried one. Everyone on here seems to think otherwise. Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 They are reasonably sensitive, but not as sensitive as they should be for $150. The Shimano Crucials are usually about $140 and they are noticeably more sensitive than Carrot Stix. Quote
mase088 Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I disagree. I picked up the 6'9" MH F for jigs and noticed my hook up ratio just about doubled. Although I have never used a Crucial, I think the rod is definitely worth the $150 as far as sensitivity goes. Its worth $200 overall . Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Not as much as some will want you to believe. For the $, there are WAAAAY better rods with better components! Crucials, as stated above are excellent. Quote
soccplayer07 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 i just recently picked up my first carrot. I have not tested it enough to comment nor do I own a Crucial rod. I only paid 110 for my carrot through ebay (new). I will say for 110 it is the best rod I have used. Quote
lubina Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I consider then as sensitive as my GLXs and Legends Quote
Super User flechero Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 Like all rods... they can be no more sensitive than the user's own hands, which is part of the reason you are going to get a wide range of responses on this thread. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted April 9, 2009 Super User Posted April 9, 2009 IMO, they are better than Crucials. Quote
Ballpark Frank Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 IMO, they are better than Crucials. Yep, Yep, That's Right, Gotta Agree with ya again Burley Once you are infected with the orange, you will never feel the same. Quote
ChazfromVA Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 i agree with both the guys above me haha Quote
