I am looking to upgrade the rod, something about a curado on an ugly stik just doesn't seem right  ;D

Right now it's a Quantum Energy E750PT on a 6'6''M BPS Crankin Stick with 10lb P-Line CXX

If all goes well within the next few weeks it will probably be a Daiwa Sol on a 6'10''MH Carrot Stix Gold with either 10lb P-line CXX or 12lb Flouro-clear

Since I use lighter finesse cranks a lot, I use a 6'6" fiberglass/graphite mix spinning rod (ugly stik lite or zebco gatorback) with a spinning reel and 6 to 10 pound mono. If I'm throwing heavier, deeper divers, I'll use a casting reel with a similiar rod and 10 - 12 pound mono. With jerkbaits, I prefer braid though, as you get better action.
