Super User eyedabassman Posted April 5, 2009 Super User Posted April 5, 2009 I bought some of the Sufix 10 lb. fluorcarbon today. Has anybody fished this new line from Sufix? And what are your thoughts on this line? I like the sufix lines alot but I have not used this line yet. :-? Quote

Super User eyedabassman Posted April 5, 2009 Author Super User Posted April 5, 2009 Ya, I picked it up at one of the Gander Mountain Stores! Quote
KevO Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I've been looking for it but no one has it here yet. Quote
basser89 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I've been looking for it but no one has it here yet. Same here. I've been wanting to try it since I heard about it from their website. It'll have to be really impressive for me to completely switch away from Bass Pro's fluro. I really like their other lines, so it's definitely possible. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted April 5, 2009 Author Super User Posted April 5, 2009 The fluro. box is gold in color almost looks like there braid box. It is hard to tell them apart. Make sure you looked good! :-/ Quote
TeamBerettaGold Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I got a chance to fish it two days this weekend. Just got a new KVD7'4" crank rod, and decided to put some of the 12lb sufix floruo on it. I have not had the chance to fish for bass with it, but I did get a chance to cast some cranks and some spoons with it. So far its very good. I spooled it on the reel, sprayed it with some conditioner and got to fishing. Handles very well, casts very well, and is very strong ( I think it is stronger than it is rated for). Now I did not fish for bass, so the line was tested on Brown Trout and Rainbow trout, I did manage to catch a couple browns and rainbows ranging from 4-12lbs and the line handled very well. As far as the KVD rod goes.....wow...this setup is sweet! Quote
