NEW KISTLER HELIUM II LTX 7`

Has any one out there used or have the new Kistler rods and what is your opinion of them? I have a Magnesium and like it a lot but all so have St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass rod and it is a hard choice. I was thinking of a rod for top water applications. My choices are between the new St. Croix Legend . XC70MF or a Kistler Helium II LTX He 2M C 70 action on this rod is MF and Lure weight is 1/16 - 1/2 oz I think this is a good action for top water,on the other hand the St. Croix Extreme has a fast and a lure weight of 1/4 - 5/8 oz both are about the same price so that is not a consideration. I would like to hear from so of you rod builders out there as far a best blanks and so on plus the Extreme has recoil guides I don't know if this is a plus or not.

i don't have either rod but i have a rod with recoil guides.i use them with berkley's new fireline braid and have no problems with them.i actually think they make less noise than my fuji titanium sic guides with the same line.
