I'm SO tired of hearing about the E21 Carrot Stix that I own 4 of them!  :o:) 1 Boyd Duckett 6'9" MH b/c rod & 3 LTX (6'9" parabolic b/c rod, 6'9" MH spinning, & 7' M spinning). I just got the 6'9" MH spinning in today...won it on ebay for $107, new.

I'm so sick & tired of Carrot Stix that I'm thinking of adding a 5th one to the mess. I want the 6'9" MH LTX b/c rod OR the Gold Carrot Stix in 6'10" MH...but Tackletour has tried the Gold Carrot Stix & they say there is an issue of the first guide, that the black coating is coming off. I'll be keeping an eye on the Boyd Duckett one I have, it has the same guides as the Gold Carrot Stix.

It's been over a year since the Carrot Stix debut & it's still going strong w/ people interested in them...why?   :):o :-/

I don't know, but this makes three vegetable threads running on

the first page of this section! Then mix it up with all the Abbadabbado

chatter and a sprinkling of Quan-to-be reels and you have a mess!

Where's the Possee?

Here you go Roadwarrior,

Shimano Rules, Quantum Drools :)

Carrot Stixs are alright, but G. Loomis and St. Croix Legends are what Carrot Stix owners really want. Also who the heck wants a orange or a gold rod?

ghost, i have the 6'10 MH gold stix. No guide issue for me! I think that was just the prticular rod they tested. I love it. Feather light, stout back-bone, pretty dang sensitive. It has been unbelievable for pitching creatures and tubes!

Two years ago when I started building rod I told myself I'd never buy another factory rod again. Well... I've bought two carrot stix in the last month and I couldn't be happier. They definitely aren't as sensitive as my loomis rods but they are super light and they're comfortable to fish with all day. I don't use them for any presentations requiring a ton of sensitivity but for crankbaits, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, and other         chuck-and-wind presentations they're awesome. Oh, and unlike a lot of people I love how they look. The only bad thing is you can see them forty miles away so there's no hiding what you're doing in a tournament.

I got six of them and love them!!!! :) i have to admit they are the best rod i have ever fished with.. and yes i have owned my share of loomis and st. croix rods! i just really like how light they are and how much you can actually feel with them.. the reel seat is ingenious! also people are shying away from the because of the eyes but i assure you... THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM!!!! i have had mine for well over a year now and have had no problems.. that includes BRAID! so go ahead people.. join the club.. Fish a carrot stik and you wont go back! ;D
