Big O Tires Angler Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 So a friend of mine wants to get a new rod/reel for an upcoming camping trip that we'll be making and asked me to give him some advice on a rod/reel setup. I've pretty much already determined that the reel will be a Shimano Sahara 2500FD and that he'll need a 6'6" to 7'0" Medium power Fast action rod. I guess my question to you experts out there...did I choose the correct reel and what rod would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance everyone! Quote
