Super User Jimzee Posted March 23, 2009 Author Super User Posted March 23, 2009 I dont want to jump on his forum listing but I would Love to show off my Daiwa arsenal!! And I will be getting on of the Limited JDM Zillions too. Just as I have the HLC and PE.. The HLC looks sweet but I was upset when it cast almost the same as the normal Zillion but it sure does look sweet. anyhow if you dont mind me showing off my reels let me know its ok! Id love to see them! Let's see those puppies. From the look of your sig. line, you have an impressive arsenal. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 23, 2009 Super User Posted March 23, 2009 Send them to me, and I'll take a nice picture of them for you. It might take four months or so... ;D Seriously, post 'em, man! Quote
Super User Micro Posted March 24, 2009 Super User Posted March 24, 2009 Is there something different about the Sol drag versus the Zillion drag? I swear, the Sol's drag is downright impressive. It FEELS more powerful than the Zillions. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 24, 2009 Super User Posted March 24, 2009 Its the same, but its 10000% times better with Smooth Drag's Carbontex and hand sanded metal washers. Quote

Your sig lists about $12-13k worth of reels without even considering the swept handles and Mg spools! You are the man! I can't wait to see this collection! Quote
The_Natural Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I'm all of the sudden trying to refrain from buying a couple of Aldabaren's. I love my Daiwas, but except for the Steez....we are seeing too much line capacity. Even the 'deep spool' TD-Z (the 103), had less line capacity than the zillion. You couple the extra line capacity with Magforce-Z, and some of my Daiwas are strait up lacking the ability to cast light weight baits. Back to the Aldabaren/Mg50....these reels represent the perfect line capacity (same goes for the core). Judging that the new Curado and Citica were released at ICAST last year, and took a month or so to hit stores....I'm not sure I can sit this season out, although I would prefer to buy the Mg50 version.
