Both have different applications so its kind of like comparing apples to oranges. P Line fluorocarbon is 100% fluoro whereas fluoroclear is only fluorocarbon coated. I have used both and I prefer the fluorocarbon for everything but flipping (braid) and topwater (mono or copolymer).

I have used plenty of different brands of Fluorocarbon including P-line. Started using Spiderwire Ultracast 100% fluorocarbon last year and it is the best of them all that I have used. Gamma Fluoro wasn't too bad. Spiderwire is smaller in diameter and less memory than any I have used.

I use a Palomar knot all the time and have no issues with line breakage or knot slippage.

The 100% fluoro seems to have less memory than the fluoroclear, but it's a bit less abrasion resistant. It's still darn good line though.

Vanish is good for nothing, it breaks with little pressure, tied with ANY knot.

My experience between the two lines are like night and day.  100% P-Line FC was decent.  Fluoroclear was junk.

I use InvisX now and love it. Seaguar used to make the FC for P-Line so I was told. I used to use the P-Line until I used the Seaguar. I never looked back  :)

I do use Sunline for my light line applications though. I use the Seaguar for 10# and up.

Thanks, I do want to try it, or XPS. Any site you recommend ordering it from?

I really like the fluoro - low memory and sen-si-tive. I lost two fish before going to the palomar knot and havent had a problem since.

X3 I thought maybe it was just me setting the hook to hard but I quess not.  P-Line is what I had been using.  I'm not sold on any brand yet.  I need to try some other brands to make an informed decision.
