I'm looking for a swimbait rod around 7' for around 100-130. I don't want a long swimbait rod like a 7'6". Is it absolutely necessary to have a longer rod for swimbaits or would I be alright using a 7'? If it's ok does anyone know anywhere to get a 7' swimbait rod?

It all depends on what size swim baits you will be using? If you are using small ones like the money minnow and Spro 4" Shad than a 7' is most likely okay. If you will be using ones like the Spro 8" swim bait and Huddleston you might want to look into a 7' 11" model.

Alright 7'6 it is thanks guys.

The Okuma is right in your price range.  Great rod for the money and a great warranty as well.  the 7'6" H is a very versitile rod.  It handles small baits around 2oz with ease as well as hucking 8in hudds.  You won't be dissapointed!!!

you want leverage, you want casting distance, you want a rod that can handle the weight of your lure.  okuma 7'6" is a good choice if u dont want to step up to the 7'11"+
