i too own a bps extreme. i unfortunately bought it at full price. i got the 7' m spinning rod. i think its an awesome rod. good enough for what i use it for. light weight plastics. i know you said it was at 5.1 oz but then i added the weight balancing system and it felt much lighter. no one seemed to mention that. i have felt the carrot stick and thats a great rod too not sure the weight it feel lighter but its a once PEICE!!!! i think the extreme is the ONE of the best two peice rods for around 80 bucks on sale right now.

Another problem with forums, lots of guys that have been around for a long time getting overly annoyed with newer guys asking questions and making suggestions. Too many folks just sitting and waiting to call someone out.

Not really so true , Don't let the stars fool you! It made me take a deeper look.

I'm just saying not everyone is as new as it seems or as old to the forum as it may seem also. It does tell us some have more to say than others.

I think I love my Mojo although I have not fished it yet!

BPS's spring fishing sale ends Sunday. Not sure if the Extremes are on sale, but at least check out the KVD signature series. You can get one for about 60 bucks, and I love it!
