newfish Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 i've been to there site. i was just wondering if anyone knew if it was true if the culcutta washers fit the curados and if true which ones of the culcutta washers? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 12, 2009 Super User Posted March 12, 2009 You'll need the exact model # (i.e.CU200B) but I suspect the CT200 washers fit your reel. Just call them, and they'll get you what you need. Quote
OnthePotomac Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I converted my Shimano's to CarbonTex and you will love them. Apply a very light coat of Shimano drag grease to them. I put it on and then wiped off all excess with my fingers. I believe you can also use them dry, but I was advised by a reel expert to do the wiped off coat of drag grease. What a difference they make. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 12, 2009 Super User Posted March 12, 2009 Dry for top end max power, and wet for the ultimate in smoothness and progressive adjustments on the fly. Only my heavy cover reels are run with dry washers. Cal's Grease or Shimano Star Drag Grease both work equally well. Quote
