jimmieO Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Check that tackletour article like he said. I re-read it fairly often and notice something new every time. They have completed 2 rounds of testing covering everything from abrasion resistance, knot strength, breaking strength....all that jazz Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted March 9, 2009 Super User Posted March 9, 2009 The P - Line fluorocarbon line is great, is really strong. For fluorocarbon leader, the P - Line fluorocarbon leader is the best. Quote
rboat Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I too, have not become a big flourocarbon fan yet. I think because of the material in the line and the small amount of stretch it seems brittle. It works fine under a steady pull, however, if you pop it or give a snap type hook set it breaks. This is only my experience with it so far. I am determined to figure it out because I love the low visibility. I do not like a line I have to baby, and that is why for now I use braid on most of my setups except topwater, where mono gets the call. :-/ Quote
