whatevrdoumean Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Has anyone used the Spiderwire Invisi-Braid line before. Right now I use Sufix braid. I like the strength of it but it sticks out like a sore thumb on some of the lakes I fish at. Just wanted to know if it was really invisible or clear in the water or is that a bunch of marketing hype. Also what about trying some of the Fireline in crystal color. I will be using it on spinning gear. Thanks for all you guys input. Mike 8-) Quote
OnthePotomac Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I have not used the Invisi-Braid, but I do use 15b Untracast on one of my spinning reels and it is terrific braid. Very smooth to use. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted March 6, 2009 Super User Posted March 6, 2009 nowhere near invisible....you are fishing with white rope instead of green...sticks out something major http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1236115839 Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted March 6, 2009 Super User Posted March 6, 2009 There is no such thing as invisible braid. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted March 7, 2009 Super User Posted March 7, 2009 Did not care for this line at all. I bought two spools of it last year and put it on two different reels. It did not cast well and it also seemed to absorb lots of water causing the line to swell. It would then cause it to bite into the rest of the line on the spool. I would not recommend it. Quote
Super User dodgeguy Posted March 7, 2009 Super User Posted March 7, 2009 garbage.if you are worried use a flouro leader. Quote
