aarogb Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I was looking on Tackle Warehouse tonite about getting a new spin reel. Super User Jig Man Posted March 3, 2009 Super User Posted March 3, 2009 Those are the sizes of the reels with 1500 being the smallest. I have some 1000s, 2000s, and 2500s. The 2500s are my favorite for bass fishing. They will hold 10-12# mono with no problems. The smaller reels have smaller spools and can give you fits with anything over 8# line. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted March 3, 2009 Super User Posted March 3, 2009 Size of the reel..i.e. a 1500 is smaller than a 2500..I prefer the 4000 although I own a Shimano 2500 which holds about 160 yds of 10lb test Quote
