Mr. Bean,

As you can easily  see, there is no "best", just "favorite" line.

You will have to try a few to see what you like. These kind of

threads are more confusing than useful.

Does Yo Zuri Hybrid stretch as much as Seaguar Carbon Pro? Is the hybrid strong enough for ponds with underwater structure? I have been using power pro but visibility worries me.

I like Izorline XXX for moving baits, and Invis-X for everything else.

I really like 15lb Pline Fluorocarbon for most applications. I use green Excel mono for topwater and crankbaits. I use spiderwire braid for frogs. This year I am deviating by using XPS flurocarbon 14lb instead of Pline. If I don't like XPS, I will go back to Pline.

I gave up mono for just about everything except crankbaits and topwater. Fluorocarbon is way more sensitive than mono! I am not interested in a hybrid when I can have the real thing. Of course I can afford the price difference.

In the past up to 1986 I used only Stren, since I've started fishin again, I've tried a few different lines including Vanish fluro..I just keep goin back to trilene xl both on my BC and spinning reels. I always use KVD line and reel conditioner too.. :D
