The_Natural Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I don't have a go-to rig per say, but if I could catch bass any way I wanted to; I'd use my Lamiglas XMG50 (it's a medium) paired with a TDZ 105h. Berkley Trielene 100% fluorocarbon in 10lb is the line, and a Lucky Craft Fat CB BDS 1 is the bait. A moonsault cb100 is a close second for the crankbait I chose, but the bds1 generally gets better quality fish. Quote
michaelkim_9582 Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 thanks everyone for sharing. This turned out better than I expected. Quote
Super User Raul Posted February 27, 2009 Super User Posted February 27, 2009 Dont play....I have seen your boat. You're not exactly fishing with a stick and thread.... My boat ? ...... there it is in all it 's glory, "LATINASESINA", 12 ft of pure mean aluminum powered by 6.5 ponies. That 's all I need to ride and catch me some fish. That 's how it looked, now I added a couple of seats for more comfort and artificial turf to the benches and deck ( burned my butt a couple of times when sitting on the bare aluminum and it ain 't pretty ) Quote

Super User Crestliner2008 Posted March 1, 2009 Super User Posted March 1, 2009 Simple choice for me. Since 50+% of my time is fishing smallies, I'd go with a one piece 7' medium fast action spinning rod with 1500 series Shimano Sahara. Load the reel with 8# test Trilene XL and tie on a 1/8 oz. jig head trailing a 3" curly tail. This would also do for Senko fishing and topwaters for LM bass in a pinch. Quote
