zelmo Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 No, this isn't about which one to buy. I have some Curado 100Ds and just got a Revo Premier. I want to replace one of the Curados but don't know whether to use the Premier for pitching 3/8 to 1/2 oz jigs with trailers on braid or to use it to throw t-rigged worms and creatures weightless or with light weights on fluoro. I haven't used the Premier yet and would rather not spool it up and then want to change it. Which way would you go? Quote
zelmo Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 Well, let me ask another way. I am trying to figure out which of the reels is better at tossing light items. I know how the Curado performs but not the Premier. How is the Premier at tossing 4" weightless senkos? Quote
MillerTime Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 try to get ahold of micro. i know he's using daiwas alot now but he is definitely a revo authority. Quote

Georgia Jeff Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 The premier should work great for weigtless items. A senko isn't super light anyway so you should be fine. The wiffled spool and infinity 2 free spooling system will zing a 4 inch senko. I don't have any trouble with mine throwing weightless senkos. I own both reels and both do a great job at throwing weightless stuff. I would use wich ever reel I liked the best if this is what lure you throw the most. Quote
