MichiganFisherman Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 Thanks for the replies. I was actually looking at that Avid, Road Warrior. Looks like a nice rod. I'll check out the other ones too. Thanks. Quote
MichiganFisherman Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 Oh, I should have specified that I'm not rich and am looking for rods and reels >$200 each. Quote
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted February 15, 2009 Super User Posted February 15, 2009 Im old school my all around rod and reel is a pistol grip falcon rod and a abu c-3 4600 jigs, spinnerbaits , worms lizards and topwaters it can handle it cant doo all of them perfect but it can do um and i catch fish all that matters Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted February 15, 2009 Super User Posted February 15, 2009 I fish all 4 seasons with a lot of different techniques so I only have what is working at the time for favorites. Right now it is a Shimano bc on a Gloomis 6'10" MLF rod and a Shimano spinning on a Gloomis 5'10" rod because we are fishing very clear stuff with mostly 6# mono. Quote
BigBrotherThunda Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 powell 683c and a tdz-103, hard to beat the tdz's for anything. Quote
