If you shop around and keep an eye on our Flea Market,

you might be able to pick up a G. Loomis IMX MBR844C

for $200. Otherwise, St. Croix Avid AVC70MHF or 70HF.

I use the Crucial 7' MH its a great rod for throwing football jigs of that size.   It's light, very strong, and super sensitive.  It's a great rod for the price.  I even got mine on clearance for $105.

As roadwarrior said IMX 844 is excellent for this application. You can't go wrong with StCroix 7'3'' Carolina Rig.That's my sweet favorite rod for this.

You need a dedicated rod for football jigs? Seems like cabin fever is reaching new heights....

the kistler magnesium is in the same price range to around $169. Is that rod any good? Never had any kistler's?

The Magnesium series is a really nice rod.  I have used one on several different occasions and it is light, strong and sensitive.  The 7' Heavy model is the one I recommend.  Its pretty versatile.

I'm not sure of your price range, the Mg series is great and should be <$200, if you have a little more in the budget, I would look into one of the 2009 LTA's with the split grip (~$275).   Good luck!
