Avalonjohn44 Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Bought some lures on ebay, got these with the lot that I cannot identify. The gold one has sucker minnow on the metal lip, but I can't find the manufacturer. The silver one is made out of plastic, and does not rattle. No markings at all. The frog colored one has single feather clad hooks on each side. Also without markings of any kind. The White and pink one has a canvass tail. Also no markings. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted December 5, 2007 Super User Posted December 5, 2007 :-? good luck :-? sucker minnow should be easiest to identify Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted December 5, 2007 Super User Posted December 5, 2007 brief search came up with "bear creek bait co." as the manf. of the sucker minnow. all i can seem to find for sale is the boxes and they are going for 10 bucks! Quote

Super User cart7t Posted December 5, 2007 Super User Posted December 5, 2007 That silver/black back lure in your hand is definitely a Rebel lure but not one I've seen before. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted December 5, 2007 Super User Posted December 5, 2007 That silver/black back lure in your hand is definitely a Rebel lure but not one I've seen before. Kind of looks like a cross between a Rebel and a Storm Thin Fin doesn't it? Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 The thin one is a rebel, almost like a thin Deep Wee crossed with a Rebel Humpback... Can't find anything on it still... What about the other two weird ones? Anyone? Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted December 5, 2007 Super User Posted December 5, 2007 the frog colored popper is pretty cool looking, buts thats as far as I can go identifying it. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted December 6, 2007 Author Posted December 6, 2007 Yeah, I'm not sure if somebody modified it that way, or it came that way. It almost looks like somebody heated the wire and pushed it thru the bait, but I am not certain. It is cool though. Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 The silver/black one is a Rebel bait. Depending on the length, it is either an F61, F62 or F63 series in color 01. 1970's vintage. I have a case of these, mint and unused, in color 05. They are old enough that the packaging has no barcode, no sku and they still accepted cash for payment on the Rebel order form packaged with each bait. Also, at the time these baits were in production, they sold direct from Rebel for $1.75 - $2 depending on model. Funny thing, they have no name for this bait on the box, order form or in any literature with the baits. Only the model # and color #. Brad Quote
