bronzewb22 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I've used braid my entire life and am wondering what is the best flourocarbon to use for dropshotting and finesse fishing in cold clear lakes? im going to be using 8 lb test on a new spinning outfit and i am willing to spend as much as needed. The Next KVD Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 P-Line 100% Fluorocarbon. Best priced ( 250yds vs competitors 200yds at or nearly the same $), most abrasion resistant, sensative, and managable fluoro I have used yet. $14.99-21.99 for a 250yd spool. Make sure you use some KVD Line and Lure Conditionor on it or any fluorocarbon for that matter and you will be set! Quote
OnthePotomac Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Inexpensive and excellent floros-Viscious and Triple Fish. Also excellent, but not so inexpensive-BPS floro. If you try the Viscious, or Triple Fish you will be pleasantly surprised. Quote
JohnMac Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Seaguar INVIZX by my terms seaguar makes the best fluro line out of anybody it is a bit expansive but since price isn't an issue i would deffinatly suggest this line Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 The two Flourocarbon line I had very good luck with has been Bass Pro's XPS Flouro and Berkley's 100% Flouro Trilene. You should be happy with either one of these. Quote
basser89 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 avoid Vanish X2! I prefer BPS XPS fluro. Quote
Fish MD Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 avoid Vanish X3 The transition is nice (gold is easier to see) but the blue box Vanish is horrible in my experience Quote
