Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted January 20, 2009 Super User Posted January 20, 2009 Smaller stuff like that - 15lb fluoro Bigger stuff - start with 20lb CXX and you should be fine. Quote
Bantam1 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I use 25# Izorline XXX and Seaguar 20# FC. Never broke either of them on a fish or structure. For the smaller baits like the 4" stuff I use 12# Seaguar FC. Its just a swimming crankbait Quote
Infidel. Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Its just a swimming crankbait Exactly. These baits are the same size of most of the tackle you already have. When you are starting to toss baits like 8" lunker punkers or 10" stocker trouts we can start talking about what you need for a swimbait. Paddle tails, BBZ shad, and True Tungsten shads don't need anything special. Quote
The Next KVD Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 20lb P-Line CXX for all swimbaits. Quote
