I am going to say Power Pro as well, but I have not always been a Power Pro guy. When I first tried it a few years back I really didn't like it. So I tried just about every braided line there is, settled on Spiderwire Ultracast and used it for the last few years. Well my flipping stick got low on braid last summer, and the local store was out of 50lb Ultracast so I got Power Pro again...........this time around I love it, and it will be the only braid I use this year.

Personal preference, Spiderwire Stealth. Used to use power pro and am happier with stealth.

Spiderwire or Suffix I am not knocking PP I have two reels spooled with it, but I just don't care for it. Seems to break off easier than Spider or Suffix. Probably just me but I also don't like the coating or whatever it has on it.

After trying several brands of braid with less then stellar results I was told about Power Pro several years ago and have to say I am impressed.  Have used it now for several years and it is without a doubt the best for durability and sensitivity.  I use mainly 30 to 65 lb test and have not had a single break off due to the line.

One word of warning, if fishing around Zebra mussells add a fluoro leader as the razor sharp zebra mussell shells will go thru ANY braid like a knife through butter.
