The Next KVD Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Avid, with Crucial in a close 2, although, why isn't the Falcon Cara on there? Quote
Stasher1 Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 As much as I love my Crucial, I actually prefer my BPS Johnny Morris Signature Series. It just feels better in my hand. I've got them set up with identical reels, and enjoy them both, but lately I find myself lusting after the BPS JM Elite to replace the Crucial... Quote

Super User Jig Man Posted January 5, 2009 Super User Posted January 5, 2009 From that list I would get the Avid. Quote
Super User Catt Posted January 5, 2009 Super User Posted January 5, 2009 When my G. Loomis BCR804 GLX was inadvertently broke I replaced it with a Crucial CRC-X610MH and quite honestly I like it better. Quote

Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted January 6, 2009 Super User Posted January 6, 2009 I have two of the Quantum Energy PT's, and for $100.00 you can't beat them. Falcon Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 6, 2009 Super User Posted January 6, 2009 Looks like the Avid is running away from the pack! St. Croix is a fine company and the Avid is the best rod at its pricing point. I suggest the AVC68MXF for soft plastics and jigs, 3/8 oz or less. The rod handles more, but with trailer, this is its sweet spot. 8-) Quote

I was thinking of like Fin. worms to small jigs and maybe some Senko's, and some swimming jigs. And the M action would be better for this. 8-) Quote
