eagle91 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I want to get a rod to use for flipping and pitching and it needs to be < $100. What are my best options ? Quote
SteveF Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 If it has to be under $100 I would look at the new St. Croix Mojo Bass MBC76MHMF, as I have one in the Legend Tournament and it is a great rod for light flipping and a great pitchin' rod. I also will use it as a back up frog rod if paired with braid. Happy New Year, Steve Quote
Furbit Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Shimano Clarus CSC-76H St. Croix Mojo Bass MBC76MHMF Falcon Original FC-5-276T All Star Team All Star TAS907FSX Quantum Energy PT QEC767FT Also if you want to be way under 100, you may want to check out All Star Select or Instinct. They sell between 50 and 60 bucks, yet are very well built rods. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted January 2, 2009 Super User Posted January 2, 2009 Team All Star Big Boy TAS867BB. 7'2" Mhvy. A very stout rod. Quote
