booneangler Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 So i been trying to figure out a good night time spinner bait rod. I want something that i can feel the bait really good with. Im using Stren Microfuse Braid so i get pretty good feel but i need a rod that will work with 1/2 and 3/4 ounce spinnerbait's. Does anyone know of any rods that would be good for this setup. Im looking for a rod around 7 foot. Anyone have any opinions? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 Reed's Family Outdoors Outfitters has their St. Croix rods on sale. I would recommend the Legend Elite EC70MHF. http://www.reedssports.com/Category/main.taf?cat=1754 8-) Quote
Super User flechero Posted December 11, 2008 Super User Posted December 11, 2008 I'd use my day time spinnerbait rod. : Using braid with a spinnerbait, you should even feel everything with a wet noodle of a rod. Quote

But of course you do, you 'll also need rods for cloudy days, those can be divided in rods for cloudy windy days and cloudy calm days; you 'll also need rods for sunny days, those can also be divided in sunny and windy or sunny and calm, you get the picture.
