Anyone here have a chance to use one this last summer?  Bought a 3000 last spring and only took the time to use it once or twice.  Anyone else use one enough to give a little feedback?

I appreciate that freakyfish, that's what prompted me to buy the Wavespin.  The only thing I didn't care for was the grip on the handle.  I see the handle for their newer DHxl model is offered separately and fits my 3000, I'm gonna buy that and get rid of the other one.  TT is an opinion that I trust, but was just wondering of anyone elses experiance.  Thanks

I bought one, paired it with 6'9" Medium rod that I use for jerkbaits & small cranks. The plus is that this reel does minimize line twist as advertised. However, after using it for a few months the reel started wobbling a little and despite my best efforts to lube & clean it there was a high pitched grinding noise. This on a rod that I don't use a lot. Based on my expierence it's like your typical chinese product in that it's not built to last. I don't plan on buying another one.

Bingo!  I'm not gonna expect the same but it's something for me to look for.  If I should end up with the same problem, at least I'll know it maybe a quality issue.  Thanks Primus
