I have used just about every series they make in multiple colors and they are a very true running bait right out of the package. The one thing I like about them is what Basser89 referenced in the fact that many of the series (100,200,FlatMaxx) are great multi species baits. Yea Basser I know if I have a bandit there is always that chance for the unthinkable to happen  8-)

I have quite a few of those 100-400 series, but generally I stick to the threadfin shad, chart/black back, pearl and firetiger colors.  I like them...

But yeah, like others said, I change the hooks.

I'm another big Bandit supporter. Especially in the Footlooose and 1 through 3 hundred series. Didn't care much for the Flat Maxx, but I usually haven't had any luck with anybody's flat baits. My colors are chart/blue back, Louisiana shad, Roootbeer/chart, Taco Salad. There's also either a yellow or chart with a brown spatter I just call vomit that's pretty good too. Haven't had trouble with the hooks, but out of the box crank hooks are never as good as they could be.

another bandit fan here too!!! footloose to 300, do have a few flat maxx, had mixed success with them. favorite colors are blue/chartruse, tenn shad,

crawdad. bought a color called 'mad cow" last year, kinda looks like a crappie, lol, but haven't caught anything on it! friend of mine fishs nothing but luckycraft, and most days i've matched him fish for fish. if you're frugal(nice word for cheap) like me, bandit makes a quality crankbait at a reasonable price. and yes i change out the hooks too, put on mustad triple grip or gami wide gaps.
