shootermcbob Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I just got my 7 medium bass pro Crankin stick. I have never used a rod specifically for crankbait fishing. I hope to get it wet before the water freezes over. Man, Winter sucks. I have a pro-qualifier 5.2:1 reel coming as well. I really like the feel of the rod and hope to be happy with the pair. The cost for both was 90.00. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted December 4, 2008 Super User Posted December 4, 2008 I think you'll be very happy with that rod. If you search the forums for feedback you'll see a lot of other people who are happy with their BPS Crankin' Sticks. Mine have really stood-up to a ton of abuse. Quote
booneangler Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 i have one and i like it pretty good. Quote
tyrius. Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I don't think that you'll be able to find a better crankin rod for $40. I've got one and really like it. Hopefully, you got it on sale though. Quote
shootermcbob Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 yeh, I got the rod for 39.00 and the pro-qualifier reel for 49.00. I am chomping at the bit for the reel to arrive so I can go get them wet. Bad news is it is only about 32 degrees outside and supposed to get colder this weekend. Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 4, 2008 Super User Posted December 4, 2008 I have an old one and it is great. You have a nice cranking rod. Quote
