freakyfish Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 What do you all think of the Okuma vs 200 baitcasting reel.What are some pluses and negatives on it.All I read about it that it backlashes a lot .But all that means it needs more tweeking.I was holding out for the new curado but I found this real on clearance for 80 bucks and its usually 200 bucks give or take depends witch site you look at.But all the help will be apreciated. scbassin Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Be sure to send the warranty card in. They have had some problem with the gearing with that real. That is why they came out with the 200a. If you have the problem send it to Okuma & want it replaced with the 200a. My buddy had a problem with 3 out of 4 he purchased but Okuma stepped up to the plate. He uses & likes his. Quote
