Super User Crestliner2008 Posted November 19, 2007 Super User Posted November 19, 2007 I've used Mann's Lil George on & off over the years with varying degrees of success. Have any of you had much luck using this oldie? I mainly use it for smallies, fishing deep, in the early spring or late fall periods. I'm thinking, this should actually be a great presentation for the time of the year; maybe I'm not presenting it correctly? Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 21, 2007 Super User Posted November 21, 2007 The Lil George is very effective this time of year where I'm at. I will cast it into the shad pods and just let it free-fall all the way to the bottom, then yo yo it back to the boat. If I dont get any bites like that, I will go to a more horizontal retrieve and burn it back. Dont give up on it, its a great fall season bait when all the bass are chewin' on those 2"-3" shad. Quote
bait__Monkey Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 You need to stick with it. Perhaps you should buy it in some different colors next time you are at the tackle shop. Quote
