FivePoundBluegill Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Hey guys I just started fishing senkos this year and had great success with them in the summer and early fall. They do not seem to be working as much right now though. What color do you think would work for murky water? I have been thinking about black/blue flake. What you guys think?
Ghetto_Basser Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 WaterMelon Red Flake is my go to color, then June Bug
Super User Munkin Posted November 19, 2007 Super User Posted November 19, 2007 5" Junebug is what I use in stained water but for muddy water I would use a black jig. Allen
Super User Tin Posted November 19, 2007 Super User Posted November 19, 2007 murky? like 1-3 feet of visibility or less? I stick to a few main colors. Mardi Gras, Junebug, green pumpkin, and black blue laminate. These will pretty much catch fish anywhere imo.
Terry_ Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 I think junebug, black/redglitter, or watermelon red depending on how murky the water is. Woops that's three colors, time to feed the baitmonkey! The clearer the water, the lighter of the three colors.
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted November 19, 2007 Super User Posted November 19, 2007 junebug, junebug and umm let me think, how bout junebug?
FivePoundBluegill Posted November 20, 2007 Author Posted November 20, 2007 Ok guys that settles it im going to buy some junebug color senkos...
