Any idea, Robert, where the handle and drag-star is available?  Definitely has a cool Daiwa look to it.

True, Rick, but you can purchase these reels and rods from Ebay and one of several Japanese sites that ship to the states.

I have no idea if they will be available seperate or not.  As soon as I have pricing and availability on the reel I'll make sure to post.

Yes, the Skeet Reese is the same way, but I am sure that it is modified on this one.

Too much like a PT

Well this reel came out in 2000 which was well before the PT. I'd say that the PT looks too much like a Ryobi

yeah , got's to laugh at that . but i ain't gonna lie , i would love to have an energy pt or tour pt ......

why would you want a rainbow colored reel?  :-? No thanks.

There are some sweet reels out of Japan though, too bad they cost an arm and a leg.
