Super User Micro Posted October 30, 2008 Super User Posted October 30, 2008 Any idea, Robert, where the handle and drag-star is available? Definitely has a cool Daiwa look to it. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted October 30, 2008 Super User Posted October 30, 2008 The neat special editions are always japan only Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted October 30, 2008 Author Super User Posted October 30, 2008 True, Rick, but you can purchase these reels and rods from Ebay and one of several Japanese sites that ship to the states. Micro, I have no idea if they will be available seperate or not. As soon as I have pricing and availability on the reel I'll make sure to post. Quote
plastic ninja Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 It needs a mag brake, and a paint job. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted October 30, 2008 Super User Posted October 30, 2008 It is, indeed, sweet looking. I'll say. Notice the lack of the mag brake! You know what that means. Quote
mattm Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I'll say. Notice the lack of the mag brake! That it doesn't have one. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted October 30, 2008 Super User Posted October 30, 2008 I'll say. Notice the lack of the mag brake! That it doesn't have one. Suppose it's got a centrifugal? Quote
Infidel. Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I'll say. Notice the lack of the mag brake! That it doesn't have one. Suppose it's got a centrifugal? Yes, the Skeet Reese is the same way, but I am sure that it is modified on this one. Too much like a PT Well this reel came out in 2000 which was well before the PT. I'd say that the PT looks too much like a Ryobi Quote
