dman Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Just ordered a few of these to try them out. When i recieved them 3 out of the 4 had the skirt "Hairs" all bunched up behind the head instead of neatly around its neck. I tried to fix one but I cant get the skirt back on now. Must be some kind of tool for this. Another thing - 3 out of the 4 again (this time including the jig with a good skirt) have burrs around the line eyelet!! there is no way these can be used, my line will just get shredded. So, has anyone else tried these, had any problems? I'm certainly going to return them (got them online) but man they look great and balance very well, shame Quote

Super User FishTank Posted November 15, 2007 Super User Posted November 15, 2007 I have tried a couple and the ones I have are well made but I have yet to catch a fish with one. I not going to give up on them just yet, they just have the apearance of a bass catching machine. If I don't have any luck this fall or next spring, I am going to switch back to Booyah. Quote

Trying using these trailers Zoom® Soft Plastic Trailers - Ultravibe Chunk on your jig. I caught 3 good size bass ( at least 2 lbs each)yesterday in less than an hour. I used a different jig but It was the trailer that got them biting. I used watermelon seed in stained water, 1-2 feet deep. Give it a try! Quote
