hey guys. how is the skitterwalk? i know there are others (LC sammy) that are better, so i dont want to sound rude or anything but i dont need to hear reccomendations/comparisons for them.

but what i want to know is:

are they easy to walk? how is their action? and how do they compare to a zara spook?

thanks!

They are pretty good. As a matter of fact my only walk the dog catches have come on them.  I had never had any look with my sammie or spook (the bigger ones) and so I got the skitter walk because it was smaller in size than the bigger lures I had. It happened to be the key to success. I will need to buy the smaller size WTD lures for my lakes.

In terms of walkability, it is easier than a spook, but nothing beats a sammie. Hope that helps.

Yes it is pretty easy to walk due to the weight shifting inside of it.Good lure. The stock hooks on it are great.I wish they made a smaller size similar to a zara puppy.

Although I own 2 of them I havent caught to much of anything on it.Ever since I started using the super spook jr thats about all I use.

Skitter has similar action and sound to ss jr but a fatter body. Basically I prefer the spook, but if you ARE a beginner with these kind of lures I would say the Rapala is a good buy for the buck, as is most all the lures they produce.there may be better but its hard to go wrong with a rapala anything for the price.

How is the overall action? I would say pretty good. The thing to remember about these kind of lures though is that the action is what you make of it.Never work it the same way for too long.Always change unless you get a bite.

absolutely love my skitterwalks!  always have great success with them.  they're noisey, and walk the dog with ease.
