Has anyone actually done this? I was thinking about it today and thought i saw it in an article by Edwin Evers. Using a drop shot rig but hooking the worm like you would a wacky rig, so body hook it. Anyone tried this with success?

Yes, it's taken a lot of $$$ on Champlain the past couple weeks. Now remove post before others find out.

I do it all the time, and know many others that do too. It's pretty common to use a 3" senko wacky rigged on the drop shot here in the Finger Lakes area.

Thanks guys for your input. I was curious if it was a popular technique or if I was stumbling across something amazing. I guess at this point nothing is really "new" techniques or info.

I've done really good with this technique, thanks to Mike Iaconelli. He was the one who introduced me to it, which he called the "wet noodle rig"

My best producing baits with it so far have been 4.5" robo's and ZOOM finesse worms
