BigMatt Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Has anyone actually done this? I was thinking about it today and thought i saw it in an article by Edwin Evers. Using a drop shot rig but hooking the worm like you would a wacky rig, so body hook it. Anyone tried this with success? Quote
Super User Tin Posted September 13, 2008 Super User Posted September 13, 2008 Yes, it's taken a lot of $$$ on Champlain the past couple weeks. Now remove post before others find out. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted September 14, 2008 Super User Posted September 14, 2008 I do it all the time, and know many others that do too. It's pretty common to use a 3" senko wacky rigged on the drop shot here in the Finger Lakes area. Quote
Super User islandbass Posted September 14, 2008 Super User Posted September 14, 2008 Oh yeah. This tactic is very effective. Love doing this. Quote
BigMatt Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Thanks guys for your input. I was curious if it was a popular technique or if I was stumbling across something amazing. I guess at this point nothing is really "new" techniques or info. Quote
basspro48 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I've done really good with this technique, thanks to Mike Iaconelli. He was the one who introduced me to it, which he called the "wet noodle rig" My best producing baits with it so far have been 4.5" robo's and ZOOM finesse worms Quote
Super User J Francho Posted September 15, 2008 Super User Posted September 15, 2008 Allright folks, move along. Nothing to see here :-X Quote
