As the others have said, two different types of lines. While I haven't used Power Pro (I use Suffix Performance braid), I have used Vanish. I don't like it! It's WAY too brittle for me. I'm currently using BPS XPS flurocarbon.

I have a question, and maybe I should have started a new thread, but why does everyone rave about Vicious lines?  I have felt them, and they are really stiff, and rough.  I have also seen the line during the bad batch a couple months ago, which I believe had a big run of dirt in their extruders.

I'm just curious, not knocking it.  Thanks!

Maybe he was thinking P-Line Fluoro.

Little confused on this one...

the whole reason I like the vicous flourocarbon is because 1. it's relatively inexpensive. 2. My experience with other flourocarbons is that it breaks at the knot (especially vanish).  3.  This stuff really seems to be strong and I have just had really good luck with it this year.  I really dont have manageability problems with it because I use 6 or 8 lb. test most of the time.

Vanish is garbage, most brittle junk ever.

I love P - Line fluoro, Seagaur and BPS fluoro are great too.

Power pro is a braided line, but it's THE BEST braided line.
